Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched its upgraded Light Commercial Vehicle Super Carry Mini Truck. The company has improved the safety of the mini truck with the engine immobilizer system. Its starting price is Rs 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
The mini truck is available in petrol and CNG variants. With the launch of the new Super Carry, the company has also introduced a new CNG cab chassis variant. The Mini Truck is also available in CNG Deck, Gasoline Deck and Gasoline Cab Chassis variants.

Maruti Super CARRY: Features
The mini-truck is equipped with safety features like front disc and comes with a larger steering wheel with improved gear shift. A new engine immobilizer system with brake, reverse parking sensors and seat belt reminder in the mini truck. The interior of the mini truck features a flat seat design, which gives more comfort during driving and braking. The Super Carry S-CNG variant comes with a 5-litre emergency petrol tank.
Over 1.5 lakh units been sold so far
The company’s Senior Officer, Marketing & Sales Shashank Srivastava said that Maruti always offers good products that exceed the expectations of the customers. The Indian mini-truck has sold over 1.5 lakh units since its launch in 2016. This truck has been accepted in the commercial vehicle segment. The new Super Carry is being offered at a good value to the customer.
Maruti Super CARRY: Engine Specifications
This mini truck has the best in class 1.2 liter 4 cylinder advanced K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine, which generates power of 80.7PS. Apart from this, this mini truck generates peak torque of 104.4Nm, This engine generates 71.6 bhp power and 95 Nm torque with CNG. This new engine is mated to an advanced five-speed manual transmission, which gives better gradeability, giving the customers a better gradient drive experience than before. Apart from this, a 5-litre emergency petrol tank is also available in the CNG version. The payload capacity of the petrol variant is 740 kg and that of the CNG variant is 625 kg.
