In April 2019, Group of PSA unveiled its first product for India – the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV. The French carmaker has already confirmed that its first product will go on sale in 2020. The French conglomerate has set up a manufacturing facility and an engine plant in Tamil Nadu under a JV with the CK Birla Group. The company said that it will manufacture almost 95% local components in Hosur-based plant.
Another Side, Renault Duster is all set to get a massive power boost, with the introduction of a new 1.3-litre petrol engine that features turbocharging and direct-injection. While the four-cylinder motor is available in a range of power outputs, for India it will have just one at the moment, rated at 156hp and 250Nm of torque. This makes the Duster the most powerful petrol midsize SUV in its segment.

Exterior:- The C5 is more of a crossover than a pukka SUV, but it stands out from the current crop with a design that is genuinely distinctive and different. It oozes with funky design details like the ‘Airbump’ protective panels at the bottom of the doors and around the wheel arches, dummy oblong intakes in the lower bumper and side panels, window lines accentuated with a C-shaped chrome finish and blackened pillars that give a floating roof effect.
On the other hand, The upcoming Renault Duster exterior has been provided with a lot of design changes. The front fascia gets a newly sculpted bonnet, projector headlights with LED DRL’s, dual tone body coloured front bumper, new fog lamp housing with wider air dams, skid plate and tri-winged front chrome grille. At the rear, with skid plate, rear LED tail lamps, Matte black tailgate embellisher and plastic cladding present between the taillamps give the SUV a rugged look.
Interior:- Inside of the Car, Citroen C5 Aircross is quitly good with its unique designs and features. The dashboard follows the contours of the air vents is a nice touch in making the dash less slab-like. The 8.0-inch touchscreen is positioned high up and easy to read The cabin wears a more functional design, but there are some interesting bits like the shapely digital instrument cluster and the unconventional gear lever, which add a smattering of flair.
Another Side, The Duster interior is concerned, it comes with all-new premium fabric upholstery, newly styled steering wheel and rectangular-shaped AC vents on the central console. Additionally, it gets a tweaked 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistant command, chrome and piano-black bits, and a faux-aluminium trim. Also, the interior colour comes in new harmony and the front cabin hosts a new cooled glove box storage.
