Tata Motors has unveiled the CNG variants of the popular Altroz and Punch among customers at the Auto Expo 2023. Both these cars of the company sell a lot in the Indian market and their CNG variants are definitely going to increase the sales even more. With these two cars, Tata Motors will soon have four cars available in its CNG portfolio that come with factory fitted units. Visually, the Tata Punch and the Altroz CNG are similar to the standard model, the only difference being that both of them will come with the CNG badge.

The country’s third largest carmaker Tata Motors has confirmed that it will launch the CNG version of the Punch in June 2023. The company showcased the car at the Auto Expo 2023. The company entered the segment in February 2022 by launching the Tiago CNG. Tigor CNG.

Tata Punch CNG Engine
The Tata Punch CNG will be powered by a 1.2L 3-cylinder Revotron engine. This will result in a slight reduction in power and torque. This small SUV can be offered with 70-75bhp power and 100Nm torque. It will be offered only in the manual version. Punch CNG will give mileage of around 30 kmpl.

Tata Punch CNG Design
Exterior
As far as the design is concerned, the test module of the Punches iCNG was spotted earlier but no such dynamic changes were detected. Hence, the design of the SUV is similar to what was seen on the ICE variant. Like other iCNG models, the upcoming Tata Punch iCNG is also available with top-spec trims. The ICE-powered Tata Punch is available in four trim levels – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. The iCNG variant is offered with both Pure and Creative trim levels.
Interior
In the features segment, the Punch iCNG is offering features like automatic climate control, height adjustable driver seat, auto fold ORVMs, cooled glove box, etc. with the CNG SUV. The dashboard includes a 7-inch infotainment screen that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Tata’s IRA technology, along with a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster.
