1. Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV

Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been launched at Auto Expo 2023. Whose price is Rs 44.95 lakh. This EV joins the Hyundai Kona Electric in India. At the same time, this car is based on the same Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) of Hyundai Group, on which the Kia EV6 is also based. The sensuous sportiness design gives it a classy look. The Ioniq 5 looks sporty and smooth with its rounded design. It gets design elements like LED headlamps and taillights, clamshell bonnet, auto-flush door handles, active aero alloy wheels etc. This EV is available in three exterior paints – Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White and Midnight Black Pearl.

2. Tata Harrier EV

Tata Harrier EV has made its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. Tata Motors has showcased three concept cars. Two of which are electric utility vehicles. However, the Tata Avinya that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 had earlier surfaced online. 3. Maruti Suzuki eVX Concept

Maruti has introduced its eVX electric SUV concept at the Auto Expo 2023. This car is based on a fully electric compact SUV. In the Indian market, this car competes with Tata Punch EV. Apart from this, it could also become a rival for Mahindra eKUV100. The EVX has been designed under the automaker’s Imaginext philosophy, and looks stylish with sharp character lines, flat fascia, LED lights. Skid plates, sporty wheels, flared fenders and side sills make the concept EV stand out.

4. Kia EV9 Concept

The Kia EV9 Concept has been showcased for the first time at the Auto Expo 2023. The electric concept SUV could come with sharp contours and LED lighting at the front and rear. It also gets features like solar panels on its roof for better range without recharging the battery, pop-up steering wheel and ultra-large 27-inch touchscreen display.

5. Toyota bZ4X

Toyota has showcased its first pure electric car Toyota bZ4X at Auto Expo 2023, which looks quite cool. It is the first EV from the automaker, which includes seven models, including the new b3ZX. This car has already been unveiled in China. Based on the Toyota e-TNGA architecture, which is a platform for electric vehicles. 6. BYD Seal EV

Luxury car maker BYD introduced its luxury electric sedan BYD Seal at the Auto Expo 2023. Equipped with BYD’s original EV platform (E-Platform 3.0) and the revolutionary ultra-safe Blade Battery, the BYD SEAL is the first company to use BYD’s CTB (Cell to Body) technology, which integrates the battery into the vehicle’s body. allows. This technology significantly improves the safety, stability, handling and performance of the vehicle. Backed by CTB technology, BYD enhances the structural and strength of the battery system through sealed cellular structure, which can withstand 50 ton heavy duty truck rolling testing.

7. BYD Atto 3 Special Edition

BYD has introduced the limited edition of its BYD ATTO 3 in a special forest green shade. BYD ATTO 3 is also equipped with E-Platform 3.0 and ultra-safe blade battery. Only 1,200 vehicles of this limited edition will be available in India for Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The BYD ATTO 3 with NEDC tested range of 480 km and ARAI tested range of 521 km was launched in India in November 2022 at a price of Rs 33.99 lakh and has received around 2,000 bookings so far.

8. Tata Sierra EV SUV

Besides the Harrier EV, Tata also took the wraps off of the Tata Sierra EV SUV concept at India’s biggest car show. The car was previously showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and since then, major developments have been made in terms of the exterior design. The vehicle features a clean front fascia with a thin LED light bar, while the rear has a simple and classy design with a bulky bumper. The alloy wheel’s arches’ come with an appealing dual-tone finish.

9. Hyundai Ioniq 6 EV

Hyundai Ioniq 6 is another electric car that made its presence felt at the Auto Expo 2023. While the EV has been launched globally in some markets, Hyundai may not bring the Ioniq 6 to India anytime soon, especially since the Ioniq 5 has just made its debut in the country. That said, the vehicle comes in two different drivetrain options – one with a single motor and the other with a dual motor and accordingly the claimed range is 547 km and 500 km respectively.

10. MG4 EV hatchback

MG showcased its premium electric hatchback MG4 EV at the event. The vehicle could compete with the BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Hyundai Kona Electric in India when it is officially launched in the future. As of now, no information has been given by the company regarding when it will be unveiled in the country. The MG4 EV comes in two different battery pack variants, one with 51kWh capacity and the other with 64kWh capacity. While the former variant is capable of offering a range of up to 350km, the latter may deliver a claimed range of 452km. As far as design is concerned, The MG4 EV sports a sporty look along with sheer surfaces and crisp lines.
