The American motorcycle company Harley-Davidson has finally lunched the new BS6 compliant Iron 883 in India. The Harley-Davidson Iron 883 is the famous powerful modern roadster bobber style cruiser bike from Harley-Davidson lineup. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine and new updated features. BS6 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 is powered by the all-new 883cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, V-twin, Evolution BS6 engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) system for uncompromised performance. The new Evolution BS6 standard emission engine is capable of putting down 68 Nm of peak torque which kicks in at 4750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The suspension duties managed by 39 mm telescopic forks at the front and coil-over with preload dual-adjustable at the rear. The braking duties handled by 292 mm disc brake with 2-piston calipers at the front and 255 mm disc brake with 2-piston calipers at the rear with dual channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
