Royal Enfield has finally lunched the much awaited new BS6 compliant Himalayan bike in India. The Royal Enfield Himalayan is the famous aggressive looking adventure touring bike from Royal Enfield lineup. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine with updated features. In terms of design the new bike remains unchanged, the Royal Enfield has implemented certain new added features more aggressive look in the bike with new attractive single and dual tone colors options. The new bike equipped with BS6 standard emission engine with electronic fuel injection system which improve overall performance and fuel efficiency. BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan comes with semi digital informative instrument cluster, round shape headlight with a chrome mask, sculpted fuel tank, step-up style seat hazard lamp switch, spoke wheels, dual purposes knobby tyres. For the safety the bike equipped with switchable dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) option, rider can be turned off for the rear tyre. BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan continues to be available in six attractive single and dual tone colors options and only one variant but prices is very according to the colors options with the dual disc brake with dual-channel ABS option in India.

BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by the all-new 411cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, BS6 engine with electronic fuel injection system (EFi) that produces 24.3 Hp of power at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 4000-4500 rpm. The new BS6 standard emission engine has become smoother and more refined engine. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission with a wet multi plate clutch. The suspension duties managed by 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and monoshock with linkage at the rear. The braking duties handled by a 300 mm disc brake with two piston floating caliper at the front and 240 mm disc brake with single piston floating caliper at rear with dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with switchable option for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
