Hero MotoCorp finally launched the new Achiever 150 in India on Monday, 26 September 2016 with the priced tag Rs 61,800 for the drum brakes variant and Rs 62,800 for disk brake variant. The Achiever 150 come with i3S technology for fuel-saving and i3S engine start-stop technology. It’s also the first bike in its class to get the automatic headlamp on safety feature, which keeps the bike’s headlamp on at all times. Hero MotoCorp add the new features maintenance-free battery, tubeless tires, side stand indicator and viscous air filter.

The new Hero Achiever 150 come with an updated engine. Hero Achiever 150 is powered by a BS-IV compliant, 149.1cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 13.4 Bhp at 8000 Rpm and peak torque of 12.8 Nm at 5000 Rpm. The engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has a fuel tank of 12 liters and it weights around 139 kg. The bike to reach from 0-60 kmph in a claimed five seconds. Hero Achiever 150 is available in two variant one is drum brakes variant and another is disk brake variant.
