Finally, the South Korean car manufacturer has launched the most awaiting Seltos X-line variant as well as in the form of Top variant of the SUV in India, which is priced at Rs 17.79 lakh for the petrol and Rs 18.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the diesel. The Seltos X-Line concept, showcased in Delhi-NCR last year, came with a special stylistic treatment to set itself apart from the standard model. Kia wants grab the maximum shares of Kia Seltos It is a heavily accessorized variant of the very famous Kia Seltos SUV that has taken the Indian automobile industry by a storm. According to the latest buzz, the brand is expected that, it will be a biggest hit in the SUV segment after launched. The Kia Seltos X-Line build on the strengths of the stock version, which include strong performance, modern styling, high-quality interior and comfortable ride. However, the X-Line concept builds upon them with a handful of feature updates that make it look even more attractive. This makes the new X-Line come in at a premium of Rs 15,000 for the petrol and Rs 25,000 for the diesel version.

Kia Seltos X-Line SUV – Design:

The X-Line features a bevy of design touches and makes liberal use of a darker color palette to set it apart as the more rugged offering. The concept wears a matte grey paint shade, and at the front, it sports a dark chrome surround for the grille, glossy black trim on the bumper and closed-off fog lamp housings outlined in bronze. The X-Line largely maintains the profile of the standard SUV and only sports a few tweaks, including a chrome applique running along the sideboards. At the rear, the changes follow a similar theme with a dark chrome bar connecting the tail-lights, a glossy black finish for the bumper, and a more prominent faux scuff plate flanked by bronze trims.

Mechanically, the new Seltos X-Line is the same as the standard SUV. Kia offers the X Line with a 140hp, 242Nm, 1.4-litre, turbo-petrol as well as a 115hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre, turbo-diesel. It is worth pointing out that these engines are only available with automatic gearbox options. Meaning, the turbo-petrol comes mated to the 7-speed DCT gearbox, while the diesel engine comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
