Overview

Mercedes-AMG has launched the E 63 S 4Matic+ in India priced at Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom, India). The all-new AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ is the most powerful E-Class ever and trust us, it can do 0-100kmph in a claimed time of 3.4 seconds. This makes the AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ faster than the AMG GT R, which was recently launched in India. After the Maybach S650, the new S-Class facelift and the GLS Grand Edition, the AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ is Mercedes-AMG’s fourth launch of the year 2018. 

Exterior

From the Outside, there are subtle changes to the E63 when compared to the regular E-Class. The performance sedan gets a single slat grille and a revised front bumper with larger air intakes. LED headlights with the signature double slash LED DRLs sees minor tweaks. At the sides, there are matte black finished 20-inch alloy wheels and the rear profile gets a boot lid spoiler and quad exhausts pipes.

Interior

While the inside of the car dashboard layout of the E63 S 4Matic+ is more or less similar to the regular sedan, the former gets a flat bottom steering wheel with AMG branding and carbon fibre inserts on the dashboard as well as the centre console. However, the talking point of the E63 S 4Matic+ has to be its heart.

Engine Specification

The new E 63 draws power from a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine that produces 603 HP of power and 850 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch automatic transmission.
