MG Motor brand was acquired by Chinese carmaker SAIC over a decade ago and they have plans to begin their Indian operation from the year 2019 onward. The British brand Morris Garage, has launched its first SUV in the Indian market, MG Hector and then Electric SUV MG ZS EV with very good response now company is going to launch a premium hatchback car very soon in India to rivals Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 in the premium hatchback segment to defeat leader of the segment. MG Motor has unveiled its first premium hatchback in India at the Auto Expo 2020 earlier this year. The company said it would decide on the date based on demand for the car and customer response.

MG MG3 hatchback – Exterior
The design of the hatch has a honeycomb grille, sweptback headlamps and an aggressive front bumper with LED DRLs. At the rear, the hatchback gets vertically stacked taillamps and a bumper with plastic cladding. The car also gets 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. Also, cruise control, reverse parking sensors and automatic headlights and wipers will be available. Sunroof feature will be available in the top variant.

The India-bound 2017 MG3 is a premium hatchback that is about to get its mid-life facelift in China. In India, this hatchback will be positioned in the B2-segment and will rival cars like the Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Baleno, and Honda Jazz. The MG3 looks sporty and sufficiently upmarket.
