Mumbai-based EV startup PMV Electric (Personal Mobility Vehicle) has launched its first electric car in India. This EV of nano size has been named EaS-E. The PMV EaS-E is now officially the most affordable electric vehicle in India. PMV Electric has launched the EAS-e at a starting price of Rs 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has said that this is an introductory price and will be applicable only for the first 10,000 customers.
By connecting this car to your smartphone, you will be able to control the air condition (AC), horn, windows and lights of the car through remote. At the same time, many smart features like regenerative braking, remote parking assist, OTA updates, smartphone connectivity will be available in this car.

Range up to 200 km on a single charge
A 10 Kwh capacity lithium phosphate battery has been used in this car, which is capable of generating power of about 20hp. The battery of this car will take about 4 hours to get fully charged and in single charge this car will give a driving range of 120 to 200 kms. At the same time, its top speed will be 70 kilometers per hour.
Booking & Delivery
The company has also officially started the pre-booking of this small car, which customers can book through the company’s official website for just Rs 2,000.
PMV Electric is currently in talks with partners to set up its production plant in Pune. It aims to start deliveries of the EV by the middle of next year and also conduct test drives for customers.
According to the report, this micro electric car will be brought in three variants, in which from 120 km Up to 200 km full charge range is going to be available. The company claims that the new micro electric car can be fully charged in just 4 hours with its 3 kW AC charger.
Smallest Electric Car
The PMV EaS-E is also the smallest electric car that can be bought in the country. It can seat two adults and one child at a time. The EV is clearly designed for city use as it measures 2,915 mm in length, 1,157 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height. It will have a wheelbase of 2,087 mm while the ground clearance will be 170 mm. Also, the curb weight of the EV will be around 550 kg.
Charging Time
The company claims that the new micro electric car can be fully charged in just 4 hours with its 3 kW AC charger.

Its electric motor generates 13 hp power and 50Nm peak torque. The company claims that this car is capable of catching a speed of 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 5 seconds. The company is also offering 4G connectivity feature in this small car, so that you can connect your smartphone to this car and control many features.
