Skoda Auto India has launched the new limited edition Onyx of its popular Kushaq in the mid-size SUV segment in India. The new Kushaq Onyx Edition costs Rs 12.39 lakh – Rs 80,000 more than the base Active trim. The new edition is based on the range-topping Style trim level and gets cosmetic updates to its design. The 1.0-litre TSI engine has been added to the car, while other features remain the same as the current model. It has received a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.

Exterior
The look and design of the Skoda Kushaq Onyx, The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition gets crystal LED headlamps with DRLs which were previously only available on the Ambition and above variants. It also gets front fog lamps with static cornering function, rear wiper and defogger, new wheel covers and Onyx badges.
Interior
Talking about the interiors, it will get push-button start/stop, ambient cabin lighting, automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, Skoda 6-speaker audio system with a subwoofer, wireless smartphone charger, Cooled glovebox, electro-operated and auto-folding ORVM, electric sunroof will be available.

The Onyx Edition of the Skoda Kushaq is powered by a TSI based 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 114 bhp power and 178 Nm peak torque. This engine is tuned with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The regular variant of the Kushaq, on the other hand, gets multiple engine and transmission options.
