The Srivaru Motors (SVM) is an startup electric bike manufacturing company based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and companies founded by former Tesla employee Mohanraj Ramaswamy.The Srivaru Motors (SVM) has launched its frist high-speed electric bike Prana in India. The Mohan Ramasamy says the performance quotient of the new electric bike was critical during its development as Srivaru Motors (SVM) wants to build performance as a key differentiator in this segments.

The Srivaru Motors Prana are two variants are available the base variant is Grand and top variant is Elite. The deliveries of Srivaru Motors Prana electric bikes will be start by the second half of 2022 as the SVM company stated.

The Srivaru Motors Prana electric bike is equipped with an intelligent based air-cooled BLDC controller with a 72V BLDC motor. The Parna is powered by a 4.32kW and 7.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack setup. It takes time approx 6 hours for the battery to be fully charged. The battery life of Pran electric bike is 2000 rechargeable cycle times. The Grand trim powered by the lower spec battery offers a claimed single-charge range of 126 km while the higher spec Elite derivative is offered with the more powerful battery which claims a range of 225 km in a single charge.
The new bike can achieve the impressive top speed of 123 kmph and it can complete the speed of 0 to 60 kmph in just 4 seconds only. The new bike also equipped with in four driving modes such as practice, drive, sports and reverse mode. The new electric bike is the based on a steel double cradle tube frame and is suspended on telescopic forks at front end and the mono-shock absorber at rear end. For braking system the new bike come with 275mm dual disc brakes system at the at the front wheel and 240 mm single disc brake at the rear wheel with three channel hydraulic brake system and electronic regenerative braking system.
