Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Overview :- The Suzuki V-Strom 1000 is a dual-sport motorcycle with V-twin engine and standard riding posture. It has been manufactured in Japan since 2002. Suzuki launched the V-Strom 1000 in India in February, at the 2014 Auto Expo. A smaller-engined version, V-Strom 650 is also manufactured by Suzuki. It borrows design from other Suzuki element even the fuel injection system from the track-bred GSX-R models. The 2016 V-Strom 1000 with ABS has good sport-adventure riding. It has a fuel-injected, 90-degree V-twin engine tuned for incredible low-end and mid-range torque, so the rider can tap into thrilling acceleration in every gear. It is the first Suzuki to come equipped with traction control which shows its versatile capability. The lightweight chassis and advanced suspension provides remarkably crisp handling even on the tightest back road. It has accessories including hand-guards, a touring windscreen, side-mounted cases, tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, digital speedometer, analogue tachometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, electric start, an adjustable windscreen, inverted telescopic front forks, a rear mono shock etc.

Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Specification :- The V-Strom 1000 is powered by a 1037cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 90˚ V-twin engine which produces maximum power of 99 bhp at 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 103 nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has dual disk brake with ABS technology at front and single disk brake with ABS technology at rear. Front suspension is inverted telescopic, coil Spring, oil damped and rear suspension is link type, coil spring, oil damped. It has fuel tank capacity of 20 litres and weight is of 228 kg.
