Tata motors has launched the much anticipated micro-SUV “Punch” in India with starting price of Rs. 5.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom). However, the top variant of the car price goes upto Rs. 9.09 lakhs and this price are valid till the end of this year only. Apart from, the company also offered with 3 customization packs including: iRA (Creative), Rhythm (Pure and Adventure) and Dazzle (Accomplished) worth rupees of Rs. 30,000, 35,000, 45,000. The Punch micro-SUV offered with four trims as Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. The best thing about the Punch should be mention here that car score 5-stars in world famous Global NCAP car crash test which make it a safest car India over Tata Nexon who also scored 4+ rating in the same conditions. The Punch SUV comes with a segment first parametric alarm system and a Tyre puncture repair kit as well. Now Indian customers can book this amazing car from any registered Tata dealer with the booking amount of Rs. 21,000/-*. Tata Punch was earlier known as the Tata HBX concept and showcased at the previous Auto Expo 2020. Tata Punch micro SUV – Exterior Design
Visually, Tata Punch well-executed styling with familiar Tata elements like infotainment touchscreen, semi-digital instrument cluster, multi-functional steering wheel and switch-gear from the premium hatchback. However, the layout of the dashboard looks new, there are some resemblances between the cockpits of the Altroz and the Punch. The shown model also featured a roof-mounted carrier. The car also boast with white trim pieces on the dash and the door and the door pulls are chromed too.
Tata Punch micro SUV – Interior
Inside of the car, Tata Punch received a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system for Top variants (Accomplished, Creative) and 4-inch touchscreen as offered with base variants (Pure & Adventure) which mounted over the top of the dashboard. This allows for an easy view, hence less distraction. Also, such set-up isn’t available in any of its competitors yet. The Tata Punch also benefited with a semi-digital instrument cluster. Confirmed, it shared the same unit as seen on the Altroz premium hatchback. Besides everything above, the Tata Punch also boast the best-in-class audio system from Harman. The system could use four speakers and four/two tweeters.
