Tesla Inc, the world most valuable automaker has unveiled its all-new fully-electric Car for Indian customers called ‘Model 3’. The company CEO Mr. Elon Must has confirmed to enter in Indian Market in 2021. The Transport minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari has also given a green signal for Tesla electric car range. The confirmed the launch of all-new Electric Car Model 3 for 2021. Based on an all-new Alliance-developed EV platform, the 2021 Tesla Model 3 will be made available with single and dual-motor options. The entry-level Standard Range and Standard Range Plus RWD variants offer 423km range. These variants can do 0-100kmph in just 6 seconds. The Long Range AWD (0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds) and Long Range Performance AWD (0-100kmph in 3 seconds) comes with dual-motor and offers an electric range of around 568km. The battery pack is fitted under the centre of the vehicle ensuring a low centre of gravity and near-equal weight distribution front and rear. Tesla cars will be introduced as a CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit; however, local manufacturing could start at a later stage. It is said that while the company will open bookings from January 2021, the sales will start in June. Tesla is likely to start operations with the Model 3 and only online.

Tesla Model 3 electric Car – Design
Exterior
In terms of design, the Tesla Model 3 looks very futuristic in its production form. At the front, you get a blacked-out panel which forms the ‘grille’, housing the Tesla logo in the centre. On either side, you get a sleek pair of LED headlights, with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs right below. On the sides, one can see the sleek roofline, 5-spoke 19-inch aluminium wheels (20-inch wheels are also available) and a single line that stretches across the side profile. The rear is characterised by a steeply raked C-pillar, there is a one-piece light blade representing the rear combination lamps, along with rear fender flares and a high-mounted rear wing.
Interior
The interior of the Model 3 looks simple and functional. The dashboard is minimalist and has only a few buttons. Tesla Model 3 gets a floating dashboard design, separated from the centre console. Also adding to the airiness is the lack of push-type buttons cluttering up space. There is a shifter with haptic drive mode controls, a flat floor leading to Tesla claiming that the electric Car has the most spacious cabin in its class.
