The best-selling SUV in October has been revealed and like other months, Tata Nexon has emerged as the winner. After this, models like Hyundai Creta, Tata Punch, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza have made their place in this list. At the same time, Maruti’s new Grand Vitara has been ranked seventh in this list.

1. Tata Nexon
This time in the list of top 10 SUVs, Tata Nexon has surpassed all SUVs and has achieved the number-1 title. Tata has sold a total of 13,767 units of this car in the last month, as compared to 10,096 units of this SUV were sold in October 2021, registering an increase of 36% in sales. The Nexon is the company’s best-selling model.
2. Hyundai Creta
The second place in this list has been the Creta SUV and 11,880 units of this SUV have been sold in the month of October. Its 6455 units have been sold last October and a growth of 84% has been registered against it. The company brought it in a new avatar and it continues to dominate the mid-size SUV segment.
3. Tata Punch
Tata Motors’ small SUV punch has been a constant hit, due to which it has been ranked third in the SUV segment. Its 10,982 units have been sold in the month of October 2022 and this is great news for Tata Motors. This is the second model of the company which is continuously crossing the 10,000 sales mark. Sales are up 30% as against last October’s 8453 units.
4. Maruti Brezza
Maruti Brezza has been ranked fourth in terms of sales in the SUV segment, with 9941 units sold in the month of October, which is 24% more than the 8032 units sold in the previous October. It was brought in a new avatar only a few months ago and due to this its sales are continuously improving. The sales are likely to get better in the coming months.
5. Kia Seltos
The fifth position in the list of top SUVs has been achieved by the Seltos. In October 2022, the company has sold a total of 9777 units of this SUV, compared to 10,488 units in October last year. Its sales have decreased by 7 percent in October this year.
6. Hyundai Venue
The sixth name in the list is South Korean carmaker Hyundai’s compact SUV Venue. In October last year, the company has sold a total of 9585 units of this car, while in October last year, the company sold 10,554 units of it. Its sales have declined by -9%. This SUV has not been updated for a long time, due to which the sales have come down.
7. Maruti Grand Vitara
Maruti Grand Vitara is the company’s new SUV and it has been ranked seventh in the segment in terms of sales. 8052 units of this SUV have been sold in the month of October, which is a great figure. The company has got its excellent booking but due to lack of chip, the demand is not being met.
