1. Honda Vezel

The Japanese auto manufacturer company Honda is planning to launch its new compact SUV named Vezel in India. Honda always leads in sedan car segment through Honda City and Honda Amaze, Now company want make some space in Much Popular SUV segment in India presently. The car has already been made its debut in Tokyo Motor show earlier in 2017. The vehicle is expected to launch in 2022 anytime in India. Honda shares its lots of design from its sibling Jazz and CR-V. Honda Vezel will launch with 1.5 litre petrol engine in India. The unit of 1.5 petrol engine can produce peak power of 132bhp and a torque of 155Nm.

2. Honda Brio Compact SUV

Honda Brio compact SUV will be next car from the company. Honda Brio takes its design inspiration from the XS-1 concept which was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Company still has not revealed any launch details. The new Honda Brio Compact SUV is expected to come with a 1.5 litre diesel engine and a 1.5 litre petrol engine. The diesel engine is capable of producing 99bhp with 200nm of peak torque. On the other side, the petrol engine offers 117bhp of power with 145Nm of torque. The company may also launch this car with a 1.2 litre engine. The Brio may come with a 5 speed manual and a 5 speed automatic gearbox.

3. Honda Next-gen HR-V

The Japanese auto giant, Honda, is now planning to add another SUV to its line-up. It is expected that Honda will launch Next-gen HR-V in India, either by the end of 2022 or sometime in 2023. The 5-seater SUV will be slotted above WR-V in Honda’s SUV range and the compact SUV will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Mahindra XUV300.. That said, the Honda HR-V expected price will be above its smaller sibling, WR-V. The Honda HR-V is expected to be launched with two engine options in the Indian market. Power on the petrol variants could come from the 1.8-litre, petrol unit and the diesel trims in the line-up are likely to use a 1.6-litre oil burner. It could be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.

4. Honda ZR-V

According to the Japanese media, the second Honda SUV to be launched in 2021 is a sub-4 meter SUV. Rumored to be called the Honda ZR-V, the upcoming sub-compact SUV will be positioned against the Daihatsu Rocky, Toyota Raize and the Suzuki Jimny. This SUV is expected to be launched in 2023. The new Honda ZR-V is reportedly to be powered by a new 1.0-litre VTEC turbocharged petrol engine that also powers the 5th generation City in Thailand and Civic in Europe. This engine is capable of producing 129PS of power and 180Nm of torque. Both manual and CVT automatic gearbox options will be on offer. This small SUV will also be launched in India to rival the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and the Mahindra XUV300.

5. Honda Elevate SUV

The Honda N7X-based SUV will be unveiled in production form in August this year. This new SUV from Honda will share is underpinnings and some cosmetic and mechanical bits with the City. The company recently trademarked the ‘Honda Elevate’ nameplate in India that’s likely to be used for the production-spec Honda 31XA (S-SUV). Measuring around 4.3m in length, the new Honda SUV will share its platform and engines with the City sedan. The latter one is currently available with the 121bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 100bhp, 1.5L diesel motors. Transmission choices are likely to include 6-speed manual and CVT automatic units.
