Hyundai Motor India has recently launched the next generation Hyundai Verna and the company is preparing to launch the Ai3 micro SUV. Ai3 has started testing internationally a few days ago. Along with this, this car has been seen during testing on Indian roads in recent times. After which it is being speculated that the company may soon introduce it in the Indian market. Hyundai Ai3 micro-SUV Launch Date
As per the fresh media reports, No official information has been given by the company about this yet, But it can be brought to the Indian market by the end of the year or can be launched on the Diwali festive season, for which the company has got a lot of preparation. Upcoming Hyundai Ai3 Exterior Design
Visually, The Hyundai Ai3 will come with unique design elements, like the split setup for circular LED headlamps with DRLs, triangular motifs on the LED tail-lights, and even the overall upright and boxy silhouette that looks quite quirky. As per the teaser images, the upcoming Ai3 test mules include an upright and boxy body shell with rounded-off edges, a large glasshouse, a flat bonnet and a split-headlight design. The upper light cluster will likely house the turn indicators, much like they do in the Venue. The teaser for the tail-lights shows that it will have a triangular pattern – likely created by LED modules.
Upcoming Hyundai Ai3 Interior
Keeping in mind Hyundai’s recent track record, the upcoming Ai3 micro-SUV is expected to come with plenty of features, many of which will likely overlap with the Grand i10 Nios. On the higher trims, the Ai3 could come with features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear-view camera, keyless entry and go, wireless charging, a cooled glovebox, power-folding mirrors and much more. The Hyundai Ai3 will look like a mini Venue, featuring flat roof and Venue-like tailgate along with a roof-mounted spoiler.
Hyundai Ai3 Dimensions
In terms of dimensions, the AI3 will measure under 3.8 meters in length and have over 180mm of ground clearance and will be based on the same platform that underpins the newly launched Grand i10 Nios and the Aura sedan.
Upcoming Hyundai Ai3 Engine
Hyundai has not yet revealed the engine options of the Ai3, however, according to reports, we can assume that it can hit the market with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that is present in the Hyundai Grand i10 and Hyundai Aura.
However, Hyundai might tune the engine a bit. This engine generates 82 bhp power and 114 Nm torque. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed manual or AMT. Apart from, The company may also launch the Ai3 SUV with a CNG variant as Hyundai is exploring alternative fuels but it should be noted that the diesel engine will not be offered with the Ai3 SUV.
