Piaggio India has lunched the new Vespa Racing Sixties 125 scooter in India. The Vespa Racing Sixties 125 is the race inspired edition scooter from Piaggio India lineup. The new Racing Sixties 125 based on the BS6-compliant scooter Vespa SXL 125. In terms of design the new Racing Sixties 125 come with a special paint job inspired by the racing liveries from 1960. The main base color is white complemented by red color racing stripes running across various body panels such as front fender, apron, handlebar cowl and rear panel for the attractive looks in the scooter. The headlight surround, rear view mirrors and exhaust shield are finished in the matte black color for the different looks in scooters. The new scooter gets the golden colored alloy wheels for a premium touch of the scooter. Vespa Racing Sixties 125 comes with semi-digital instrument cluster, LED headlight with LED DRLs, under-seat light, USB charging port, tubeless tyres and CBS (Combined Braking System). The new scooter equipped with BS6 standard emission engine with electronic fuel injection system that engine provide the better performance and fuel efficiency. The Vespa Racing Sixties 125 is the most expensive scooter in 125cc scooter segment in Indian market right now. Vespa Racing Sixties 125 to be available in only one attractive color option and only one variant including the single disc with CBS option in India.

Vespa Racing Sixties 125 is powered by the all-new 124.45cc, 4-stroke, 3-valves, air-cooled, single-cylinder, BS6 engine with electronic fuel injection system that produces 9.78 Hp of power at 7500 rpm and 9.6 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to automatic CVT transmission. The new engine gets a BS6 standard emission engine with electronic fuel injection system and 3 catalytic converters that improve the overall performance and fuel efficiency. The suspension duties managed by single-sided link-type suspension setup at the front and dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The Braking duties handled by 200 mm disc brake at the front and 142 mm drum brake at rear with CBS (Combined Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
