Yamaha YZF R1M Overview: Yamaha Motors India update the series of YZF R1 and lunched the new YZF-R1M along with the road-legal counterpart. YZF R1M is the powerful super sport bike from Yamaha Motors India. The YZF-R1 and R1M are based on Yamaha’s ‘High Tech Armed Pure Sport’ concept. YZF-R1M come with new stylish looks, advanced technologically with advanced electronic suspension and host of other upgrades to make it quicker around race tracks. Yamaha Motors India use carbon fiber bodywork for the further reduce bike weight. The bike shares most of the technical specifications with he standard R1. R1M come with electronic racing suspension from Ohlins, a communication control unit and stickier and Bridgestone tires. The new YZF R1M also gets a fully digital instrument cluster with a colored TFT screen. The bike come with new advanced electronics package like as traction control, slide control, launch control, wheel-lift control and ABS.

It generate maximum power 197.2 Bhp at 13500 Rpm and maximum torque of 112.4 Nm at 11500 Rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The front brake is 320 mm dual discs brake, 4-piston calipers, unified and 220 mm disc brake, single piston caliper, unified at the rear end with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The front suspension is Ohlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS), 43 mm inverted fork and rear suspension is Ohlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS), bottom link mono cross. It has a fuel tank of 17 liters and it weights around 200 kg.
