Datsun has finally launched the Redi-Go 1-0-litre AMT in two trims – T (O) priced at Rs 4.00 lakh and S priced at Rs 4.12 lakh (all prices Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). Since Launched in 2016, Datsun Redi-Go was third car from the Japanese manufacturer in India. This represents an increase of about Rs 23,000 and Rs 25,000 over their respective manual counterparts.

Design & Features:

Design and looks wise there is nothing different in the AMT version; not even the tell-tale AMT badges to differentiate it from the other siblings. However, the rudimentary music system gets Blue-tooth connectivity as a welcome addition which wasn’t available in any other variant till date.

Engine:

There are no change in Design and Engine specs. The car continues same 999cc, 3-cylinder, i-SAT engine. Mated to a 5-speed AMT unit, this motor puts out 68 PS of power at 5500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4250 rpm. Thanks to the ultra-light kerb weight of 650 kgs, the Redi-Go AMT offers brisk acceleration and comes with a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 22.5 kmpl.
