Honda first Introduced its line of scooter or scootys in 2000 with Activa, which was a 110cc scooter after the launch Honda Avtiva become an instant hit with people in India. Currently in 2015 Honda has six different variants of scooter selling in India.

Honda Activa 3G – The third generation scooter from Honda in the lines of Activa was launched in 2015. Honda holds the monopoly in this category and with the launch of Activa 3G they are more strengthening their position. The new scooter is quite similar to other Activa’s as this have new 3D sticker, varied color schemes. The Activa 3G is powered by the tried and tested 110cc Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine which delivers 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque through a CVT transmission. The Activa 3G gets hydraulic spring loaded suspension and 130mm drum brakes on both the ends. The Activa 3G is priced at Rs 51,000.
Honda Activa i is a new avatar of one of the best selling scooters in India Activa which was launched in 2000 by Honda. The New Activa i was launched in 2014. The new scooter has retained the successful 110cc engine which produces 8bhp of power and 8.74Nm of torque but have some cosmetic changes in the scooter. Honda launched Activa i that is cheaper, lighter and more stylish. It comes with a 18 liter storage area and company promises that it will give mileage of 60kmpl. It is priced at Rs 47,000 ex showroom Mumbai.
Honda Dio – Honda holds a powerful position in this segment with another product in scooty segment. The scooty is been made to attract young buyers as the scooty has the same engine of Activa but is quite light in comparison to Activa. It is priced at Rs 48,000 ex showroom Mumbai.
Honda Aviator – Aviator is third in line variant from Honda scooters after Activa and Dio. Aviator is also a 110cc scooter which is packed with powerful engine, style and performance. The 109cc single cylinder air-cooled engine churns out 8bhp at 7000rpm and maximum torque at 8.77Nm at 5500rpm. The scooter gets the V-Matic transmission and can be started using kick start as well as self-start option. It comes in two options one with drum and other with deluxe which is price 51,000 to 53,000 respectively.
Honda Activa – The market leader of 110cc segment of automatic scooter Activa is been ruling the category since its launch in 2000. With time Activa has gone though minor upgrades such as coming with eco technology which overall imrpves the mileage of the scooter. It comes with a 109cc air-cooled engine that develops 8bhp at 7500rpm of power and 8.74Nm at 5500rpm of torque. It is priced at Rs 50,000 ex show room Mumbai.
Honda Activa 125 – The Newest entrant to the ever going 125cc scooter segment, it offers a package that is hard to resist. Honda’s newly developed 125cc engine which produces 8.6bhp of power at 6500rpm and 10.12Nm of torque at 5500rpm. It comes with valuable additions such as telescopic front suspension, a front disc brake and alloy wheels, and its restrained styling exudes an air of sophistication, giving it the look of a premium product. It has two variants standard and deluxe which are priced 56,000 and 62,000 respectively.
