Aprilia SR150 Overview : Aprilia had showcased the SR150, a new scooter offering, at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Aprilia SR150 is the second scooter from the Italian brand for our market. What makes the Aprilia SR150 even more interesting is the fact that it is the first scooter to be built in India by its parent company Piaggio. The scooter will be manufactured at Piaggio’s production facility in Baramati. In terms of styling, the Aprilia SR150 has a European design language which is edgy and contemporary. The sporty styling makes the SR150 a desirable scooter amongst youngsters.

Loading ...Aprilia SR150 Specifications : The Aprilia SR150 is powered by an air-cooled, 154.4cc single-cylinder engine producing 11.5PS at 7,000rpm and peak torque of 11.5Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine is same as the one seen on the Vespa 150 currently sold in India. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a CVT transmission. The scooter employs 32mm hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic shock absorber unit at the rear to handle suspension duties. The scooter runs on 14-inch wheels that get wrapped around wide 120/70 section tyres at both ends. The Aprilia SR150 has a fuel tank capacity of 6 litres while seat height is 775mm. Braking is done by 220mm disc brake at front with twin-piston caliper and 240mm drum brake at the rear.
