Citroen C3 Aircross SUV finally made its world debut in India. This will be the fourth offering from the French automaker and will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyrider in the Indian market. The company will launch its new car in the Indian market in the second half of 2023.

The Citroën C3 Aircross is based on the CMP modular platform that also underpins the C3 hatchback and global-spec Jeep and Fiat cars. This architecture will help the company to keep the price of this SUV low. It is based on the company’s C3 model but comes with a slightly bigger size. It has also been built on the Cubed platform.
Citroen C3 Aircross: Design
The design and styling of the new Citroen SUV has been heavily inspired by the C3 hatchback. Upfront, there is a split chrome grille and headlamp clusters. However, the alloy wheels and design after the C-pillar are different from its hatch sibling. Front and rear bumpers have also been changed. The wraparound taillamps get a split setup just like the headlamps. The C3 Aircross measures almost 4.3 meters in length, which is almost as long as the Hyundai Creta SUV.
Citroen C3 Aircross: Interior Features
Talking about the interiors of the car, the Citroen C3 Aircross gets a fully digital instrument cluster with a tachometer which is missing from the C3 hatchback. However, the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and the dashboard design look similar to the company’s C3 hatchback. The 7-seater version of the SUV comes with roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third row passengers along with blower controls. There are USB charging ports for the third row passengers. It also gets day and night IRVM and cruise control.

New Citroen SUV gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine generates power of 110bhp and torque of 190Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox has been given for transmission. The company is going to bring it in dual tone color option. The company will be available with 60 outlets across 55 cities at the time of launch of the Citroën C3 Aircross. In cities where the company does not have dealerships, the company is going to deliver cars directly from the factory to the customers.
