Czech Republican carmaker Skoda has launched the Slavia Anniversary Edition in the sedan segment and the Blue Edition of the Kushaq in the mid-size SUV segment in India.
The company has introduced the Slavia Anniversary Edition at an ex-showroom price of Rs 17.27 lakh, while the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 17.99 lakh. Both these Skoda models are one of the safest cars in their respective segments. Both the models have been given a 5-star safety rating in the updated Global NCAP crash test.

Vehicle manufacturer Skoda Auto India had confirmed last year itself that the company will soon launch special editions of Slavia and Kushaq and now the company has launched Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition and Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition. The company has launched both these vehicles with 1.5 liter TSI petrol engine. Both the cars will run on E-20 fuel
The company has introduced the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Anniversary Edition with a new Lava Blue color option. Along with this, both the cars get RDE and E20 fuel powered engines. The company claims that now the fuel efficiency will increase by 5 percent in Slavia while 7 percent in Kushaq. Let us tell you about both these cars.
Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition
The company has positioned the Slavia Anniversary Edition above its Style variant. It is powered by the 1.5-litre TSI engine, which will come mated to MT and DSG transmission options. Talking of changes, it gets a chrome-finish front grille, chrome inserts on the side cladding, aluminum pedals, ‘Anniversary Edition’ steering badges, ‘Anniversary Edition’ branding on the C-pillar and scuff plate, and ‘Anniversary Edition’ lettering on the cushions.
Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition
The company has also placed it above the Style variant. The Kushaq Anniversary Edition 1.5- is also powered by the TSI engine and will be available with MT and DSG gearboxes. It gets a chrome-finish front grille, chrome inserts on the side cladding, aluminum pedals, ‘Anniversary Edition’ wedges, ‘Anniversary Edition’ branding and the Anniversary Edition look on the C-pillar and scuff plates.

Under the hood, both the models get a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 150hp and 250Nm of torque. Both get a choice of 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
