Tata has launched the Tata Tiago iCNG with a starting asking price of Rs. 6.09 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Tata Tiago iCNG is available in Five trims – XE, XM, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ DualTone. The car powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that makes 73.4 PS at 6000 RPM and 95 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM when fed with CNG. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. At the same time this engine makes 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque while running on Petrol. As per the Tata company CNG version of car can cover upto 300 kmrs on CNG fuel. Along with, The special thing about the car is that this car can start directly on CNG. The company’s iCNG technology makes switching between CNG and petrol easy. When the amount of CNG in operation is low, it automatically shifts to petrol. This helps the driver to travel long distances. If you want to buy this car, then you can book by walk-in to any registered Tata dealer by paying refundable token amount. The token amount is between 5-10 thousand rupees.
Tata Tiago iCNG Exterior Design
The CNG model of the Tiago has not made any design changes as compared to the regular petrol version. The only update visible from the outside is a new ‘i-CNG’ badge on the tailgate. Similarly no significant changes have been made to the interiors of the Tiago CNG.
