The Big Chill Cafe, New Delhi – Contact Numbers

The Big Chill Cafe is a chain of cafes located in New Delhi, the capital of India. The cafe is owned by Aseem Grover and Fawzia Ahmed. The cafe started out in 2000 with its first outlet in East of Kailash, an area in South Delhi, with Italian cuisine and an ice-cream cafe. Presently, it has four outlets, one in Kailash Colony market, two in Khan Market and DLF Place, Saket, It is great competition towards other restaurants and cafes. The ambience and crowd this joint garners is simply a source of envy to its competitors. Big Chill is a restaurant that can be enjoyed in ever season, every day of the week and all though out the day, it is hard to get bored of the food on the menu – so much variety! The food is always delicious, the portion sizes are huge and the service is swift.

Most of their staff is from the North-East and it is energizing to see how full of vigour they are! This restaurant is always bustling of people and you are bound to be waiting a long time to be seated. However, the wait is completely worth it because when you start with their lime soda you are refreshed beyond belief!

Lasagna, pasta, risotto, every damn item, piri piri chicken…. you just name it and you can have it…this place has awesome chefs with the right talent to make one of the best mediterranean foods.
I have tried similar joints in Delhi and elsewhere but these guys are really good.
the portions are perfect for a foodie like mine so a casual eater will in fact waste food from his or her plate for sure.

Let’s take a look at the four joints of this outlet in Delhi/ncr:

  • Piri Piri Pizza : it’s a vegetarian pizza with veggies on a thin crust. The crust, as usual, was beautiful. Not very crispy, as that makes me think I’m eating a papad
  • Chicken in mushroom and sage sauce : this was once again, a delicious dish. The sides included a piece of bread, some vegetables, and scalloped potatoes. The chicken was covered in the sauce
