The sub-compact SUV segment comprises some of the most popular cars in the Indian car market. These cars are so popular that their demand is always there. But in September this segment has seen a huge drop in sales. Though the segment contributed about 18 per cent to the total car sales in the month of September, it has registered a decline of around 20 per cent as compared to the previous month.
At least two new subcompact SUVs have been launched in the country since September last year. Both the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger have done well in the sales charts in the last month, helping the carmakers to end the month on a positive note. The list also comes with shocking numbers, where normally best-seller SUVs have slipped in the ranks, while others have topped the sales charts this month. SUV sales are increasing continuously. Now every manufacturer has some kind of SUV in its line-up. If they don’t have one they are working hard to develop one. Today, we list down 8 upcoming SUVs that will launch in 2022.
