Nissan motor is betting big with its newly launched SUV called ‘Nissan Magnite’ in India. The company says, it could be a game changer for the brand. The Nissan Magnite concept has been revealed in Auto Expo 2020. Nissan also states that the Magnite is made on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ and the car has been designed in Japan while keeping in mind the requirements of Indian customers. Another Side, Toyota recently launched Urban Cruiser SUV which is used for the Toyota version of the Maruti Vitara Brezza. Unlike the Toyota Glanza, the Toyota Urban Cruiser gets more differentiation from the Maruti Vitara Brezza. It is comes with a new larger grille and revised bumpers. Exterior
Exterior design of the Nissan Magnite looks fresh with nice touches all-round. Up front, the headlights and DRLs look to be LED units.The grille follows the redi-GO’s design, but the pattern is new and below it is the skid plate, completing the front profile. The side profile looks simple, yet neat with wide haunches, plastic haunches for the wheel wells, stylish alloys, side skirts and a black roof with rails. Rear profile of the Magnite looks stylish, getting LED taillights, while the bumper houses the rectangular exhaust outlets.
On the other hand, the Urban Cruiser sub-compact SUV from Toyota looks significantly different from the Vitara Brezza. The compact SUV gets a dual chamber LED projector headlamps with chrome accents that are complemented by two-slat wedge cut front grille with chrome surround and grey finish. Additionally, the vehicle gets dual function LED DRLs and turn indicator in the headlamps. The LED fog lamps with chrome accents accentuate the fascia.
Interior
Nissan offers the car in dark colour interiors and fabric upholstery for the seats. The car also has a lot of storage compartments such as cup and bottle holders, a 10-litre glove box, centre armrest storage, etc. There is a leather-wrapped steering wheel that has audio, voice assistant, cruise function and telephone control switches on it. Additionally, there is an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It gets Nissan to connect fifty features and smartwatch connectivity. There is a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster as well.
Inside of the Car, The Urban Cruiser gets dual tone interior and premium dark brown fabric seats. It gets front centre sliding armrest with storage, four-door speakers and two tweeters, upper cooled grove box and five-colour combimeter vibe lights. Additionally, the vehicle gets leather wrapped steering wheel and seven-inch Smart Playcast touchscreen audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and smartphone-based navigation.
