Alto in hatchback and DZire in sedan, know which car was bought more in mid-size SUV ?
Talking about the segment-wise figures of car sales in the country, Maruti Suzuki dominated 2 out of 3 segments. Maruti cars topped the hatchback and sedan segments. At the same time, Mahindra XUV 700 was successful in making a place in the mid-size SUV segment.

In the hatchback segment, 4 Maruti cars have been successful in making it to the top 5. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios entered the top 5 with 6,042 units. Maruti’s Alto is the best selling car in October 2021 with 17,389. However, there has been a decline of 2.5% in the sales of this car on a yearly basis. At the same time, Baleno car is at number two with 15,573 units. On the other hand, WagonR sold 18,703 units in October 2020, which has sold only 12,335 units in this October.
